Y-harness [Feb. 6th, 2011|01:21 am]
DIY dog stuff
I made a new harness for Unski. I promised to make them since last summer, but never really got into it. I looked for reference pictures from internet and first I didn't even have materials for them, but during the autumn I gathered all i needed, but still didn't bother to start the project. When last year was closing to it's end I started to plan how to actually create them, drew a picture to see which measures i need and so on, but then i forgot whole thing again until in December I finally got the measurements. After X-mas I started to make them and it took only couple of days to finish them.
I wanted to make an Y-harness instead of the old T-harness (scroll down, it's second last pic), because the Y-model supports better and doesn't choke the dog when he's pulling in the leash. The front panel is made of soft neoprene angle support xD. Also used four pieces of pedestrian safety reflector strip (sides and to the front)

Does anyone have recipes for dog treats that don't have wheat, corn or soy in them?

FINALLY [Dec. 6th, 2008|12:59 pm]
DIY dog stuff

We finally figured it out! The snuggly warm dog hat and scarf is finally here! After some long, hard, tedious work, we finally got them past production! We made them in 3 sizes, XS, SM, M/L. We're also almost done with the slotted hats for the ears to poke out of. I'll post images of those when they're finally ready as well!

Thanks everyone for all the feedback and suggestions! You flippin' ROCK!

So last night I was going through last winter's bag of ideas for winter dog hats and I found this funny red corduroy one which Stewie just loves to wear. I always laugh so hard when he wears this one but it poses a good question for this season's line of winter-wear....

What is in more of demand by the customer???
a) Dog hats with cute lil teddy ears on the side or
b) Dog hats with lil slits for the pet's real ears to poke out of?

Help me out here... Let's put it to a VOTE!

[mood |chipperchipper]

Well everyone my spoiled prince and myself have been trying to start up a DIY based doggie clothing company, for stylish dogs with an attitude. Mainly hand painted band shirts and adapted human clothes. Also accessories like blankets, baked goods, collars, booties...yada yada yada:P  Its going to be a branch of my clothing company that should be launching soon. Its going to be called Ein's Closet named after my spoiled prince of course:P To give back 20% of profits from each sale are going to an animal charity. Its my way of giving back to the world that gave me the love of my life. So far I haven't  found the right charity, anybody know of any good ones? Hopefully the company should be launched soon. Ive had some equipment malfunctions (sewing machine broke) and monetary complications (got fired from my previous job) but aside from that all systems are go :D Ive been using Ein as my model for the company:
